Interface Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Provide leadership in the optimal use of information technology to advance the organization toward its strategic and operational goals. Understand and manage issues in the design of the interface between the clinical user and information systems, including associated research and development issues.
- Identify strategies for the communication, accessibility, availability and the use of information for clinical and administrative use.
- Provide leadership in the areas of systems planning, analysis and implementation of clinical information systems.
- Acts as a systems analyst in order to direct system directions: problem statements, problem analysis, alternatives, strategies, solution development.
- Translate clinical needs and realities into system terms.
- Interpret technical issues for clinicians.
- Analysis for requirements and specifications. Provide project management when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with PL/SQL Oracle
- Experience with HL7 is preferred.
- Experience with designing, coding, testing and implementation of interfaces in the hospital environment is preferred
- Application of technical analyst skills
- Project Management skills - ability to successfully manage multiple client interfaces simultaneously
- Problem solving and analysis skills
- Knowledge of system implementation methodologies
