ATLANTA – Community Medical Center (CMC) has selected Surgical Information Systems (SIS) to be the perioperative systems provider for its 299-bed facility located in Scranton, PA.

CMC chose the SIS Solution because of its proven ability to impact financial, clinical and operational efficiencies in the surgery department. In addition to purchasing the AHA-endorsed SIS Surgical Scheduling and HFMA Peer Reviewed Rules-Based Charging, CMC will be among the first to implement SIS Trax, a new and fully integrated tissue tracking system offered by SIS. CMC Vice President of Information Systems, Joseph Fisne, said that the hospital’s perioperative staff is looking forward to realizing tangible benefits with the SIS Solution.
