HFMA Selects SIS as Peer Reviewed Vendor
ATLANTA – Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) staff and volunteers have designated Surgical Information Systems (SIS) as an HFMA Peer Reviewed Vendor for Rules-Based Charging (RBC), the financial component of the SIS product.
According to HFMA, the Peer Review Program is a way for members to identify the products/services their peers are using to deliver organizational savings and performance improvements. Peer Review consists of a rigorous review by a panel consisting of current customers, prospects who have not made a purchase and HFMA members. The panel either validates or rejects the product/service and its performance claims based on criteria including demonstrated ROI, ease-of-use, accuracy, customer service and support. In order to qualify the vendor must maintain a strong reputation of integrity in the healthcare field.
