Surgical Information Systems Appoints Chief Financial Officer To Expand Growth and Optimize Corporate Strategy

Surgical Information Systems, the leader in integrated surgery management systems, today announced the addition of Bruce H. Duner as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Duner will act as a corporate officer and strategist, managing and controlling overall corporate risk, in addition to executing a financial plan that will contribute to the continued growth of the company.

Duner has more than 21 years of financial and management experience, having managed financial operations for a variety of manufacturing, distribution, technology and healthcare firms. He joins SIS from Mariner Health Care, a $1.7 billion nursing home company, where he served for two years as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. While at Mariner, his responsibilities included all financial operations and due diligence exercises for multiple financing and acquisition transactions. Prior to the time he spent at Mariner, Duner served for three years as Corporate Controller and four years as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Invensys / Wonderware Corporation, a $300 million industrial automation software company. He is a Certified Public Accountant and spent five years at the beginning of his career with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells. Duner holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
