SIS Anesthesia
SIS Anesthesia provides automation of the legal anesthetic record. Its user-friendly features (including charting wizards, required fields, quick-pick lists, pre-populated fields, and the automatic recording of all required time information) significantly reduce anesthesia documentation time and errors. It captures all of the anesthesia-relevant information you need including: data relating to equipment, supplies, drugs, and personnel associated with a surgical case, along with the context of use for all resources.
SIS' anesthesia module includes a graphical interface so anesthesiologists can easily view patient events in real-time, see what medications have been administered, when they were administered, and what effect they had on the patient’s vital signs. It automatically captures up to 125 vital signs from patient monitors. Furthermore, this tool records codes, modifiers, and professional services to facilitate timely and accurate billing.
SIS Anesthesia is the only anesthesia system on the same database as a perioperative system. This shared database brings two very important benefits to anesthesiologists. First, it means you don’t have to re-enter any information that already exists in the perioperative record. Patient demographics, H&P, allergies, etc. — if the information was entered anywhere in the perioperative process (from PAT scheduling to PACU) it will show up automatically where appropriate on the anesthesia record. Secondly, it means any change to the perioperative record that impacts the anesthesia record will be automatically reflected in the anesthesia record and vice versa.
